Redefining power at the JUMP Forum

Last Women’s Day, March 8 2018, Redscope’s Executive Director Claudia de Castro Caldeirinha was the Master of Ceremony of the famous annual JUMP Forum in Brussels. This annual event, created by the charismatic Isabella Lenarduzzi, combined a full-day of learning with international speakers and visionary experts on the latest trends in gender equality, skill-building workshops, best practices and dedicated seminars for HR or Diversity leaders. There were be networking facilities with 600 participants and experts.

This year, the forum was centered around the issue of redefining power, and brought incredible speakers to Brussels, such as Avivah Wittenberg-Cox, CEO OF 20-FIRST and Josh Levs, author of “All in: How Our Work-First Culture Fails Dads, Families and Businesses – and How We Can Fix It Together”.

It is time to share the power between men and women to transform the practice of leadership! There was be a focus on how we can share power between the different genders, in order to allow for a more open culture that has space for men and women to lead on their own terms rather than conform to the traditional norm. This will allow for a more open culture that values differences and collaboration, as well as making it easier for women to stand up for themselves.
