CHAMPIONING EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION IN THE NEW EU LEGISLATURE – HOW DO WE GET THERE?
With 61% of newly elected MEPs arriving for the current European Parliament legislature, a new European Commission with the first woman President in the EU’s history, and an EC Commissioner in charge of Equality – it is a timely moment to take stock of the existing Gender Equality (GE) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) agendas, to exchange good practices, and to cultivate synergies among leading actors from the different sectors in international Brussels.
During this exclusive event, senior participants from the European institutions, civil society, and private sector are invited to the following questions: (I) What does the new context bring in terms of opportunities, developments, and challenges for inclusive leadership?, (II) What are the priorities & recommendations to accelerate the EU gender equality and inclusion agendas? and finally (III) How can the participants from the different sectors use their influence, networks to further collaborate to their common goals?
